The editors of Shopper Marketing magazine have
reviewed the exhibitor roster for the 2017 Path to
Purchase Expo and curated a special list of innovations
that will be demoed, displayed and available for
examination at the show, to be held Sept. 26-28 at the
Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, Rosemont, Illinois.

FEATURES: The Instigo shopper marketing optimization system now includes a full-service budget
management application designed to support
zero-based budgeting and shopper marketing
spend transparency. The application integrates
with the Instigo platform, which automates the
planning, localization and production of in-store
and online program tactics.

FEATURES: The "Lapsed Shopper Program" (LSP)
identifies customers that have not visited a
partner retailer in a set amount of time based on
store category. inMarket's algorithms determine
if the shopper is frequenting a rival retailer, or
simply not shopping in that category. inMarket
then retargets that shopper with mobile, desktop
and tablet ads to direct her back to the partner's
stores. The program draws real-time, first-party
location data from a combination of beacons, GPS
and Wi-Fi.
BENEFITS: A beta campaign for a national retailer
identified shoppers and recovered 40% back to
the store versus a control of 15% who were not
exposed to messaging.
