2016 Path to Purchase Expo
Tracks

Expo offers 48 seminars presented by
more than 120 expert speakers - including
the Institute faculty, which has received
superior ratings from audience members at
recent Institute events. The 12-track lineup
covers a wide variety of topics designed
for brand manufacturers, retail executives,
agency professionals and solution
providers alike. This year's attendees can
choose a combination of seminars from
these tracks: Collaboration, Digitally
Integrated Solutions, Home Improvement
Channel Strategies, Insights to Activation,
Leveraging Mobile, Measurement & ROI,
Personalization & Integration, P-O-P & InStore Activation, Power of Social, Shopper
Marketing Best Practices, Solutions for
Retailers and Trends & Technology.

A Curated Exhibit Hall

The event's conference and exhibit hall
format is designed to help bridge the gap
between knowledge and execution. In
addition to the educational seminars, the
Expo show floor will host more than 120
exhibitors offering a wide variety of tools,
ideas and expertise to serve as a catalyst for
successful shopper marketing strategies.
The show floor is curated with special
maps and other guide posts to reveal what
solutions are available, and the editors of
Shopper Marketing magazine will again
highlight must-see exhibitors with an
"Editors' Choice" designation. These
companies are selected because of their fresh
approach or unique innovation worthy of
special attention.
Again this year, there will be docentled tours specifically crafted for brand
manufacturers and retail executives to learn
quickly what is hot, trending and new on
the show floor. Tickets may be purchased
when registering for Expo.

Design of the Times Gallery

The Design of the Times Gallery showcases
the finalists in the Design of the Times
competition, which celebrates the most
effective in-store activation tactics, displays
and campaigns in eight retail channels.
Winners will be announced on Wednesday,

Sept. 21, during a reception and ceremony
event. Tickets are available for purchase
when registering for Expo.

VR/AR Experience

New this year, Expo will feature exhibitors
who offer a virtual or augmented reality
solution for CPG brands, retailers and the
trade. This collaborative effort between
P2PI and the VR/AR Association will
demonstrate how these immersive
technologies can enhance shopper
engagement and influence decision-making
in any retail environment.
Several VR/AR-focused seminars will
be intertwined in the educational program
at Expo, and a select group of companies
have been invited to showcase their VR/
AR solutions on the Expo show floor. These
exhibitors will be identified as participants
in the VR/AR Experience and will offer
the opportunity to demonstrate these
promising new technologies.

The Who's Who is an exclusive group
of leaders who have been recognized by
Shopper Marketing magazine as influential
trend-setters in their respective fields
of shopper marketing, digital shopper
marketing, insights, shopper marketing
agencies and merchandising.
In addition to the Who's Who group,
a limited number of seats are available for
other Expo attendees on a first-come, firstserved basis. Tickets may be purchased
when registering for Expo.

Women of Excellence

On Wednesday Sept. 21, the Institute
will host its first Women of Excellence
reception, recognizing a distinguished
group of women for their leadership and
involvement in influencing shoppers along
the path to purchase.
During the reception, 130 women from
retail, brand, agency
and solution provider
companies will take
the stage to be honored
for their work in the
industry.
The reception will take place at the
Donald E. Stephens Convention Center

Special Who's
Who Breakfast Presentation

Shopper Marketing magazine's 2016 Who's
Who honorees are being invited to a special
breakfast presentation on Wednesday, Sept.
21, from 7:30 - 8:45 a.m. Hosted by Inmar,
this exclusive seminar titled "Changing
the Menu: Marketing to the Natural and
Organic Food Shopper," will offer strategic
thinking for engaging shoppers who are
trending toward natural and organic food
choices.
