featuring several industry experts. Brands,
agencies and retailers alike will benefit from
exposure to expert presentations that offer a

The second symposium, "The Shopper
Solution: Driving Growth Through
Stronger Insights Identification and
Activation," tackles the vital role that
shopper-centric insights have in best-inclass shopper marketing. This workshop,
adapted from the learning curriculum of
the Path to Purchase Leadership University,
will help seasoned professionals and
beginners alike in elevating their insights
development skills.
The third symposium, titled "Transform
Your Approach to Product Line Reviews
- From Adversaries to Win-Win-Win
Partnerships," is presented by SFW and
Cleveland Research Co., and offers a better
way to approach Product Line Reviews
(PLRs) to produce a win for the retailer, the
manufacturer and the brand.
The fourth symposium, "Courting
Today's Health-Oriented Shopper," covers
the complexity of health & wellness as
consumer preferences evolve and the need
for transparency grows. In conjunction with
Progressive Grocer, this presentation will
cover how to profit from this opportunity
while meeting the needs of tomorrow's
health-conscious shopper.

Keynote Addresses

Powerhouse keynote addresses will set
the tone for the entire show in Rosemont.
Walmart's VP, marketing customer
experience, Jamie Sohosky, will take the
stage the morning of Wednesday, Sept. 21,
with her presentation titled "Designing the
Customer Experience of the Future." She'll
explain how the company is working to
reimagine how to create a better customer
experience leveraging new approaches
whether that technology is in-store or with
today's and tomorrow's customer.
On Thursday, Sept. 22, Moe Alkemade,
GVP/GMM competive convenience at
Walgreens and Ivan Pollard, SVP, strategic
marketing at The Coca-Cola Co., will
deliver the second keynote titled "How
a Compelling Integrated Marketing
Campaign Can Capture the Hearts and
Minds of Your Shoppers and Consumers."
They'll discuss leveraging actionable shopper
insights and deploying a compelling pathto-purchase strategy that enables a dual win
with shoppers and brands.
