Daniel Warhaftig, former MillerCoors senior
marketing manager - emerging brands,
was named Merrick Pet Care director of
customer marketing. He builds brands at
retail by connecting with shoppers for longterm growth while driving incremental
performance and profitability.

Post Holdings, St. Louis

Howard Friedman, formerly executive vice
president of Kraft Heinz's meat and dairy
business, was named president and CEO of Post
Consumer Brands. He succeeds Chris Neugent,
who was named executive vice president,
strategy, for Post Holdings. Neugent works
with Post's business units to develop strategic
plans and competitive advantages based on his
success with Post Consumer Brands.

Catalina named Wes Chaar its chief data
and analytics officer. In the new role, Chaar
oversees Catalina's global efforts to extend
the power of shopper data and insights to

of shoppers worldwide, while increasing the
efficiency, predictability and responsiveness of
retailer and brand marketing initiatives. Chaar
previously served as senior vice president of
analytics, data and decision sciences at Turner
Broadcasting System.

Triad Retail Media and Yahoo veteran Elliot
Bell was named Liquidus' chief revenue officer.
His work involves building a team to scale
customer success through greater consumer
engagement. Bell tackles one of the industry's
biggest challenges of efficiently creating
personalized and relevant messaging through
the company's proprietary ad technology.

Revlon, New York

Chief operating officer Debra Perelman was
promoted to become the company's first
female CEO. She is focused on enhancing
Revlon's consumer and customer-focused
approach of personalization, inclusion,
usability and passion for beauty. She is
responsible for driving Revlon's efforts
to further innovate through technology,
enhance its iconic brand portfolio and invest
in e-commerce as a growth driver. 

RETAILERS

Ace Hardware, Oak Brook, Illinois

John Tovar, former GameStop vice president
of merchandising, was named Ace Hardware
vice president of retail operations and new
business. Tovar brings more than 15 years of
experience in the retail industry, including
leadership roles with Home Depot and 24
Hour Fitness. He will report to John Surane,
executive vice president of merchandising,
retail operations, business to business, and
Ace Wholesale Holdings.

Best Buy, Richfield, Minnesota

Former CVS Health chief digital and
technology officer Brian Tilzer was named
Best Buy chief digital officer. He succeeds Bala
Subramanian, who left the company after six
years to join AT&T as chief digital officer. Tilzer
leads all of Best Buy's information technology
and digital operations to support its 2020
growth strategy.

Lowe's, Mooresville, North Carolina

Lowe's is searching for a chief financial officer
to succeed Marshall Croom, who will retire on
Oct. 5 after 21 years with the company. The
hardware retailer has retained an executive
search firm to find his replacement. Croom
will remain with the company until his
retirement to provide a transition period
for the new hire. Croom joined Lowe's in
1997 as an assistant treasurer and held several
leadership positions including senior vice
president, merchandising and store support,
as well as senior vice president of finance.

Petco, San Diego

Ron Coughlin, former HP president of personal
systems, was named Petco CEO. Coughlin is a
consumer products and technology industry
veteran with more than 15 years of corporatelevel experience at HP and PepsiCo.

Publix, Lakeland, Florida

Dain Rusk, former Albertsons Cos. group
vice president of pharmacy operations, was
named Publix vice president of pharmacy.
Rusk oversees pharmacy retail operations and
the pharmacy retail business unit, including
pharmacy central fill, specialty pharmacy,
managed care programs, and collaboration
efforts with hospitals and health care centers.
He will report to executive vice president and
chief financial officer David Phillips.
